Ruchita & Litesh

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray and W Hotel at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai has been the scene of many weddings. But one of the most gorgeous ones they hosted was that of Ruchita and Litesh, and that too in December, which is one of the best months of the year in Dubai.
The brides are perhaps the ones who are the most excited about their weddings, and Ruchita was no different. Right from day 1, she knew exactly what she wanted! Being a pure tea lover, she knew that the events had to revolve around a similar theme for sure. Hence, we kicked off the wedding festivities with a tea-pot-themed Mehendi ceremony at Sobe, W Hotel.

Using real tea cups and teapots along with pearls, books, florals, and tea stands, we gave the whole venue a truly Victorian vintage feel. The main sitting area for the couple was adorned with an arch of pink and white roses that screamed elegance, beauty, and love. The bride entered in a custom-made umbrella that we decorated with real flowers and baby breath and was undoubtedly the cynosure of all eyes. Later, we arranged for a performance by the duo of Hari & Sukhmani that charged the air with traditional but modern electronic Punjabi folk music.

The sangeet ceremony was all about the groom’s favourites. We flooded the whole venue with lights. There were some neons and royal blues thrown around the venue, giving the event a rich but young look. There was a mandatory LED dance floor to cater to the party animal inside everyone, along with some LED screens and lights. The event was in the capable hands of Dj Elyaas who did a wonderful job of making sure everyone parties till sunrise after all the sangeet performances had concluded.
Finally, came the wedding day which was a treat in itself. We decorated the venue with shades of pink and beige to give it a really subtle but elegant look. Floral artwork adorned the walkway along with a massive human-size hashtag #RuschGetsLit made with floral prints. What’s more, we also prepared customised cones, wedding bells and a customised note for each guest present at the wedding!
But the celebrations don’t just end there. The reception was also a lavish affair with roses and candles being the main elements of the night. We roped in The Raaga Factory to weave their magic with some melodious Bollywood tunes while Ruchita and Litesh performed their first dance together as a couple. While the groom was his usual charming self with all his outfits in subtle colours, the bride was the one to watch out for. Each of Ruchita’s bridal outfits had a story to tell and were some of the most elegant and thoughtfully crafted pieces of clothing you’ll ever see!
