Urvi & Prarit

One of the reasons why the marriage of Urvi and Prarit was a pretty special affair is because it took place on 2nd December, which is also the UAE National Day.

Eager to make her dream wedding a reality, the bride was actively involved in all the planning and management activities with us. This wedding was the perfect example of a sundowner wedding as it took place under a sky that was replete with shades of blue and orange while the sun dipped below the horizon in the background. The fact that it took place on a helipad at a Palm Jumeirah property, Waldorf Astoria, made the whole affair all the more splendid.

It took a lot more planning than usual to come up with the Mandap colour scheme. However, along with the bride, we were able to zero down on a scheme that not only was in sync with our ideas but, also suited the mood. The groom entered in a vintage car and walked to the mandap accompanied by Punjabi dhol beats, while the bride made her entry under a phoolon ki chaadar.

Both the mandap and the outfits of the couple displayed shades of pink, white, and beige, which went perfect with the sky above. We also curated a special bridal walkway resembling the Sabyasachi print, which was one of the highlights of the evening.
